Ready to learn guitar in a fun, encouraging small-group setting?

Our Beginner Guitar Class for ages 10–17 gives students the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of guitar while building confidence, musicianship, and a love of making music.
​
With just 3–6 students per class, students receive plenty of individual attention while also getting the fun and motivation of learning alongside other young musicians.
​
No previous guitar experience is needed.
Beginners are absolutely welcome!
What Kids Will Learn
Throughout the session, students will:

Learn how to tune their guitar and develop good instrument-care habits

Learn how to properly hold the guitar and develop comfortable playing technique

Build strumming skills through rhythm exercises and songs

Learn beginner guitar chords and practice moving smoothly between them

Develop rhythm and timing while playing individually and as a group

Learn songs that put their new chords and strumming patterns into practice

Practice playing with other musicians in a supportive small-group environment

Build confidence as they progress from their first chords to complete songs

Small Class. More Individual Attention.
This isn't a large group guitar class.
​
Enrollment is limited to just 3–6 students, allowing our instructor to work with each student while still providing the social and musical benefits of learning in a group.
​
It's a great middle ground for families who want more individualized attention than a traditional large group class while still giving kids the fun of learning alongside their peers.
​
Students Will Need a Guitar
Students must bring their own guitar to each class.
​

Step Up for Students families: Guitars can often be purchased using scholarship funds through the EMA ScholarShop. Families should check current eligibility and purchasing requirements through their EMA account.

Payment Info:
Fall 2026 Payment Schedule (Registration is now OPEN)
Total Tuition: $420 for the complete 10-week program

October 1st – $140 (auto-billed)

November 1st – $140 (auto-billed)
This 10-week class series is billed into three payments of $140 via auto-billing, with $140 due at registration. Your registration reserves your child's place for the complete 10-week series.
All registrations are final. Because this is a 10-week class series, refunds cannot be issued once registration is complete. Please be sure you're able to commit to the full session before registering.
By completing your registration, you agree to the remaining tuition payments of $140 on October 1 and November 1. Payments not received within 5 days of the scheduled due date will incur a $30 late fee.

Scholarship & Payment Options:
Direct billing through through the Step Up for Students Scholarships is available for eligible families. Guitar Class can be found in the EMA Marketplace for direct billing.

At this time, we do not accept Sunshine Health or CMS Medicaid for private sessions or group classes.

What Kids Experience
Beachside Music Lessons & Therapy offers an interactive and creative environment for kids to learn and practice acting, singing, and dancing in this 10 week class! Our goal is to introduce kids to the fundamentals of theatre and acting through fun-filled classes, while encouraging: social skills, collaboration, and creativity. The lessons taught go beyond the theatre and will have a positive impact on whatever our young students choose to do in their lives.

Our group lessons build confidence, bolster brain power, boost social skills, cultivate patience and discipline, encourages creative self expression, and improve memory.

Our Small Group Classes ensure your child gets the one-on-one attention they need in addition to the space to work through new skills and songs. It's the perfect combination in learning a new instrument. Music is always more fun when you play it with friends!

Our Small Music Therapy Groups offer students an opportunity to explore music making, learn new skills, increase social skills, speech, gross and fine motor skills, academics, and more. How It Works

Reserve your child's spot in our 10-week Musical Theater Class and get ready for an unforgettable adventure in singing, acting, and movement!
​
Each 50-minute weekly class is designed to help students build confidence, make friends, and develop performance skills in a fun, encouraging environment. Throughout the session, students will work together as they prepare for a special family showcase at the end of the program.
Get Ready for Class
No costumes, scripts, or theater experience are needed!
​
Simply bring your enthusiasm, wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes, and come ready to sing, move, create, and have fun. We'll provide everything else.

Just wear comfortable clothes, bring a water bottle with a secure lid, and be ready to participate. All materials are provided, and no previous theater experience is necessary.
​
We encourage students to enjoy a snack before class or between classes if they're attending another program. Water bottles with a secure, closing lid are always welcome to help everyone stay hydrated during class.
​
