Musical Theater

Musical Theater Class

Sing. Act. Dance. Shine.

If your child loves to sing, dance, act, or simply express themselves, our 10-week Musical Theater Class is the perfect place to build confidence and creativity in a fun, encouraging environment.

Each week, students explore the exciting world of musical theater through singing, acting, movement, improvisation, theater games, and storytelling while preparing for an original end-of-session showcase.

No previous theater experience is needed.

Beginners are always welcome!

What Kids Will Experience

Throughout the session, students will:

Learn acting fundamentals through fun theater games and improvisation.

Build vocal confidence with singing and musical activities.

Explore movement and choreography while bringing characters to life.

Develop creativity through storytelling, role playing, and imaginative play.

Practice teamwork by working together in small groups and ensemble activities.

Strengthen communication skills while performing and collaborating with peers.

Experience a real audition for their role in our original mini musical, all within a safe, encouraging environment helping students build confidence, learn basic audition skills, and become comfortable performing in front of others.

Grow confidence in a supportive environment where every child has a chance to shine.

What Parents Love

Our Musical Theater class is designed to be fun, low-pressure, and welcoming. Rather than focusing on perfection, we help children discover the joy of performing while building skills they'll use both on and off the stage.

Students often leave class with:

✔ Greater self-confidence

✔ Stronger public speaking skills

✔ New friendships

✔ Improved listening and teamwork

✔ Increased creativity

✔ A love for music and theater

What to Expect

Each weekly class includes:

  • Acting games that build confidence and creativity

  • Singing activities to strengthen vocal skills and musical expression

  • Movement & choreography that bring stories and characters to life

  • Character development through imaginative role-playing

  • Improvisation to encourage quick thinking and creative expression

  • Group rehearsals that teach teamwork and stage presence

  • Creative storytelling through music, movement, and acting

  • Performance preparation leading up to our final showcase

The session concludes with a special family showcase, where students have the opportunity to perform what they've learned and celebrate their hard work with family and friends.

Keep the Adventure Going

Many families choose to enroll in both Musical Theater and Music Across America.

While Musical Theater focuses on acting, singing, and performing, Music Across America introduces children to America's musical traditions through music, movement, crafts, and hands-on activities.

The classes complement each other beautifully, and we love seeing students continue learning all afternoon.

Here's ...

When you learn in a small class, you gain so much more than learning to play an instrument! Watch your student learn and grow while making new friends. Our group lessons build confidence, bolster brain power, boost social skills, cultivate patience and discipline, encourages creative self expression, and improve memory.

Our Small Group Classes ensure your child gets the one-on-one attention they need in addition to the space to work through new skills and songs.  It's the perfect combination in learning a new instrument. Music is always more fun when you play it with friends!

Our Small Music Therapy Groups offer students an opportunity to explore music making, learn new skills, increase social skills, speech, gross and fine motor skills, academics, and more.  Music Therapy Groups are based on goals specific to the participant's needs.  Contact Us for more info about our Music Therapy Groups.
